Garnet and hematite - Nador, Morocco
The piece is essentially composed of garnets of good size (up to 4mm) for the locality, associated with some small hematite flakes, on a grey to slightly orange rhyolite matrix. The garnets, very shiny, are of a beautiful dark red color, and present truncated edges. Discovered at the end of the 80s in the vicinity of Nador in Morocco.
