Hexagonal calcite - Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Colorless hexagonal calcite with relatively thick petals and shiny surfaces on limonitized goethite, from a recent discovery in the large Ojuela mine in Mexico. Colorless lamellae of hemimorphite are also present.
