Zunyite - Qalat-e Balat, Bandar-Abbas Region, Hormozgan, Iran
Colorless crystal of zunyite in an orange gypsum matrix, from a 2018 discovery in Iran, having revealed the existence of zunyite crystals larger than a few millimeters, the maximum size known until then. This one measures 1.2 cm of edge. For this provenance, colorless crystals are less common than brown crystals with hematite inclusions.
