Macles Fluorite with Hématite - Greenlaws Mine, Weardale, County Durham, England, UK
Magnificent small Fluorite, composed of beautiful macles. The crystal growth markers on the faces can be seen very well. The colours are sublime, varying from Violet to yellow by transparency without forgetting White. Some touches of Hematite are also apparent. An old piece from the early 1970s. Beautiful English mineralogy ! A perfect sample that will delight a collector of small coins.
