CALCITE and DUFTITE on MOTTRAMITE - Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto, Namibia
This calcite is simply fabulous by its crystals that form like a big pink flower, and the size of its lenticular crystals (the two biggest measure 7 cm long!). The pink color is homogeneous across the piece, everything is placed on mottramite gangue. This is a historic piece because it was extracted on July 15, 1988 of the Tsumeb mine in Namibia.
