Grossular garnet " raspberry " - Sierra de Cruces, Coahuila, Mexico
Grossular garnet of a very nice "raspberry" pink color typical of the Sierra de Cruces locality in Mexico. The back, incomplete, reveals a black heart. Analyses revealed that this core was composed of andradite garnet. Two varieties of garnets in one!
