Quartz and calcite perimorphosis - Ploemeur, Morbihan, France
Quartz specimen with a complex history: it is first composed of big milky points broken then recrystallized by a layer of hyaline quartz offering a double termination (on both sides, eh Pascal ;-p ) and a surface in "stairs" (?). Then come calcites, of which only a few perimorphs remain today, materialized by slightly hematoid microquartz. A last small quartz (5mm), biterminated, covers the whole. The morphological history of this quartz ends with an unfortunate shock on one of the large points, but that is forgotten by the interest of all the rest of this novel which will be printed and attached to the piece in case of purchase ^^.
