Garnet and hematite - Nador, Morocco
Uncommon association of millimeter garnets and hematite flakes, on orange matrix of rhyolite. The contrast in color and the brilliance of the crystals make the piece very pleasant to display in a showcase; the complexity of the hematite crystallization and the perfection of the garnets are a treat to observe with a magnifying glass! This piece was discovered in the late 80's near Nador in Morocco.
