Fluorite and calcite - Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
A deep purple fluorite in good condition, with relatively bright surfaces, partially covered with partially dissolved carbonates, giving a nice contrast to the whole. This piece is from a recent (early 2021) discovery of a small single pocket on level 4 of the large Ojuela mine in Mexico where fluorite is rarely encountered.
