Zunyite on hematite - Qalat-e Balat, Hormozgan, Persia/Iran
Rare zunyite on hematite gangue. The main crystal, of 0.8 cm of edge, and of brown color, presents truncated edges. The faces are relatively brilliant, it does not present any damage. The specimens on matrix are rarer than the isolated crystals because these generally do not hold in place on the gangue of hematite. These Iranian zunyites were discovered in 2018 and have the particularity of being plurimillimetric, even centimetric, which is large for the species.
