Pyromorphite and crocoite - Le cantonnier vein, Nontron, Dordogne, France
Numerous small orange crystals of crocoite (very rare in France!) accompanied by microcrystals of green pyromorphite on a granitic matrix. The piece is crystallized on both sides. Old piece from the Cantonnier vein in Dordogne, very difficult to exploit now.
