Fluorite - Rancennes, Ardennes, France
Cubic violet fluorite (rarer than the "Aztec pyramid" fluorites) up to 7 mm and some in Aztec pyramid, all on quartzite matrix. The rims are in fact darker than the core. Piece coming from Rancennes in the Ardennes. This area was classified as a regional natural park in 1999. This piece comes from an old discovery that remained for many years with a local prospector and collector.
