Amethyst - Guipavas, Finistère, France
Light violet amethyst quartz, almost pink, with darker edges and tops, bright surfaces, speckled with small concentric inclusions of what is probably goethite around the hematite. The backside is made up of "deadboxes", presumably of calcite. Nice quality for this small locality in Brittany.
