Epidote, bybssolite and calcite - Haute-Ubaye, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France
Epidote in elongated, shiny, well-terminated crystals, accompanied by byssolite in capillary fibers with a silky sheen. A calcite crystal and a small quartz finish this paragenesis from the upper Ubaye valley in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
