Laurent RIGOLLET, prospector and collector, passionate about fossils and minerals for 40 years.
It all started at the age of 10, when my uncle gave me some fluorites found in the Haute Loire.
Thanks to the Club of Surgères and other local associations, I discovered the paleontological wealth of my department: Charente Maritime. I specialized in fossil echinoderms (sea urchins, crinoids, etc...)
Our prospecting in France, Spain, England, Germany but also trips to Morocco and Brazil have allowed us to collect fossils and minerals.
For more than twenty years, we have participated in the bourse of Sainte Marie aux Mines, Millau, etc....
