Grossular garnet " raspberry " - Sierra de Cruces, Coahuila, Mexico
Grossular garnet of a very nice "raspberry" pink color typical of the Sierra de Cruces locality in Mexico. The main crystal (8mm) at the top is complete. The base of the piece is composed of other garnets, incomplete, revealing a black heart. Analysis revealed that this core was composed of andradite garnet. Two varieties of garnets in one!
