Azurite psm tétraèdrite, malachite et quartz - Mine à Giraud (La Gardette), Isère, France
Exceptional piece because of the rarity of its composition and its locality: it is tetrahedrites pseudomorphosed in azurite, this one being of a superb royal blue glittering by places, also accompanied by malachite, let of a little quartz at the base. This piece has also the particularity to present a conservation of triangular growth figures on the surface, well visible on the pictures. It comes from the Giraud mine, close to the famous La Gardette mine, known worldwide for its gold and especially the quality of its quartz. This pseudomorphosis is very uncommon and therefore extremely rare on the market.
