Zunyite on hematite - Qalat-e Balat, Hormozgan, Persia/Iran

Rare zunyite crystals on hematite gangue. The piece contains no less than 8 brown crystals of all sizes, the largest (located on the side, mottled), measuring 1.1 of edge. The surfaces are not very clean (they have many natural asperities), but no damage is noted. Specimens on matrix are rarer than isolated crystals because the latter generally do not hold in place on the hematite gangue. These Iranian zunyites were discovered in 2018 and have the particularity of being plurimillimetric, even centimetric, which is large for the species.
