Carrollite on Calcite from the Kamoya II mine in DR Congo. The top of the piece is crowned by a superb and large cubo-octahedral carrollite crystal. Perfectly expressed, it features sides with an exceptional silver and shimmering metallic sheen, enriched by splendid geometric growth figures. This high-end cobalt sulfide contrasts beautifully with the white calcite matrix and is accompanied by chalcopyrite areas with magnificent multicolored iridescence, golden, bluish and violaceous. A small-sized sample with impeccable aesthetic quality.
