CERUSSITE, BARYTE and GALENA - Les Dalles Mine, Mibladen, Midelt, Draa-Tafilalet, Morocco
This specimen combines Cerussite, Baryte and Galena from the famous Dalles mine in Mibladen, Morocco. The piece is crowned by a superb beige-amber cerussite crystal, ideally perched and erected in the center of the matrix. This translucent crystal reveals geometric faces with intact edges and a particularly vivid adamantine brilliance. It emerges from a pink, salmon-coloured carpet of baryte made up of lamellar rooster crests, whose fine reliefs perfectly capture the light. The periphery and the reverse are enriched with small crystals of bright gray-steel galena, harmoniously complementing this classic Moroccan association. A very balanced piece, offering excellent visual dynamics from all angles.
