CERUSSITE - Mfouati Mine, Bouenza, Congo
This specimen showcases crystallized Cerussite from the famous mine of Mfouati, located in the department of Bouenza in the Republic of Congo. The coin is an imposing compact cluster of 510 grams, entirely covered with a dense tangle of cerussite crystals from creamy white to beige. The many geometric faces are harmoniously intertwined, developing a particularly bright greasy to adamantin luster that reacts superbly under lighting. Its stocky and fully crystallized structure offers a textured and regular relief over its entire surface. A voluminous, heavy and very representative room of the large carbonate facies of this classical African deposit.
