QUARTZ on FLUORITE - Morit gallery, Sewen, Thann-Guebwiller, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est, France
Exceptional specimen for the French mineralogical heritage. Discover this imposing quartz plate on Fluorite, extracted from the mythical and inaccessible Galerie Moritz in Sewen, in the Haut-Rhin in Alsace. This XXL cabinet piece of 1270 grams offers a spectacular double face. Its main face is entirely covered with a dense grouping of quartz crystals in gray, smoky and slightly amethyst shades, endowed with a bright brilliance. The reverse of the coin creates a surprise by revealing a magnificent and large massive fluorite plate in lavender blue to intense royal blue, an essential signature of this anthology deposit. A heavy piece, particularly aesthetic and very graphic from all angles, ideal for collectors of French systematics.
